Good Soil

I went on an expedition this week, down to the fertile soil of Puyallup to participate in a moment of growing grace. We gathered and talked chit chat. We smiled and lots of hugs were exchanged between the five in the picture. A couple of them had items to share. We shared smiles and stories and sang this song:

Lord, let my heart be good soil, open to the seed of your word.

Lord, let my heart be good soil, where love can grow and peace is understood.
When my heart is hard, break the stone away.
When my heart is cold, warm it with the day.
When my heart is lost, lead me on your way.
Lord, let my heart be good soil.

It was a gentle visit with friends and the generous gracious healing love of God.
God is growing grace in our hearts.

Peace,
Pastor Mark
