Clouds and Light

Last night it rained, cleaned the air of blackberry pollen and prepared the sky for this glorious Northwest morning. Clouds of all sizes and shapes are layered and blown across the sky. Sunshine and blue breaking through, here and there, surrounding the sky. Layers and layers for miles and miles. Dark and light. Shadow and bright. Oh what a beautiful morning.

This morning's panorama connected to the light and dark patches in my heart. Such a wonderful mix of sadness and hope, pain and joy, storms passing and sun breaking in. And I see the same in the folks that surround one another in the church. Such beautiful, broken, healing, people God uses and chooses to be instruments of peace and hope. Oh what a beautiful day.

Peace,
Pastor Mark
